On the first Friday of the school year, all the students and faculty at GCHS filed into the Field House for a start of the year Pep Assembly. They expected the welcome back to school, they expected the recognition of students and teams who had achieved some milestone over the summer months, they expected 30 minutes of announcements. And while they got those things, the students didn't expect the final minutes of the Pep Assembly in which the staff of GCHS showed their Bulldog spirit and ran down from the bleachers to participate in a flashmob. The audience of students, at times shocked into silence, at other times filled with excitement at seeing their teachers on the floor, was treated to a performance which the staff had practiced for several days. With a roar of "GO BULLDOGS!" the GCHS staff proudly presents their Welcome Back Flashmob performance!
Have a great year and Go Bulldogs!
